How a shortage of open spaces and playgrounds affects a child’s growth? Go back to childhood for a while and recall the school days. Initially, the alphabet is taught in preschool with the help of images around us. The books are designed in such a way that children feel connected with the surroundings around them. How a shortage of open spaces and playgrounds affects a child’s growth is the most heated discussion these days. Now, the grounds are turned into parking areas or they are just the place of beautification. The question is where will children play? Why do we always blame electronic gadgets for child’s non-physical activity? Where is the space for the left to release their energy?
A playground is a beautiful place where children see the world around him/her. Trees, ground, benches, the lively environment, etc make children extremely happy. Thus, playgrounds are very important for a child’s mental and physical growth. A decade ago, after coming back home, children used to make a group and get on to play with a group. But the time has changed and no longer are they seen in groups. Those who can afford to join one or the other academy to continue the game. What about those who cannot afford it?
It is high time; we must realize the importance of physical activities in playgrounds and open spaces. It is your responsibility to search for such spaces and make your child realize the benefits of playing outside rather than NO physical activities. Schools should also give importance to the physical activities of children and make it mandatory in their curriculum.

Now we are designing kindergarten and for such cases we need to think also about the space orientation. If we put playground near the exit it will be a problem but if we put it another space we will solve the problem *noise and of course *safety.
