  1. Inapt Media: Just like any other gadget, a mobile phone is an important tool used for wrong purposes at times. Kids come across age-inappropriate messages, texts, etc. They sometimes share such messages and videos with their friends. Such irrelevant messages or videos change their perceptions and thought processes. This may also create a fiasco that affects their life in the long run.
  2. Tumour: The word tumour is scary but the fact is that studies have shown that too much use of mobile phones increases the risk of tumour. 3. Affect Brain: Studies have shown that the human brain is sensitive to electromagnetic radiations but it is yet not proven that these radiations could disturb brain activity. As mobile phones function on electromagnetic waves for various forms of communication and the brain has its electric impulses wherein communication is carried out, it could possibly affect the brain. However, the research work is still taking place to prove if radiations from the brain affect brain activity. Make sure to limit the mobile phone time so that child’s learning could not affect and the child can focus on important activities including his/her studies.
  4. Academic Performance: Some children are over possessive with their mobile phones. As soon as they reach home they just pick up their mobile phone and start chatting with friends. In fact, they want their mobile phone beside them even while eating food and watching television. The increased use of mobile phones leads to cause lack of attention in studies. They miss out on crucial studies in exploring the least useful videos etc.
  5. Sleep Trouble: Children also use mobile phones during sleep time. They would like to chat with friends, play games and scroll social networking sites which cause sleeplessness and fatigue. It also interrupts the academic as they are unable to wake upon a time the next morning and this affects studies.
