Introduction:

Tanu Jain, an IAS officer, has become a popular name these days. She was born on 16 July 1986 in Sadar Bazaar Delhi. She is the daughter of Mr. Akash Jain and Mrs Arpita Jain. Her husband’s name is Mr Vatsalya Kumar and together they have a son named Rajyavardhan.

She has always attained good scores in school and completed class XII with 94% marks. However, her father met with an accident and got bedridden for around 2 years. For higher studies, she went to Subharti Medical College, Meerut, to do a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Despite becoming a doctor, she had an urge to become an IAS officer.

In the beginning, she failed to clear the test twice, she at last secured 648th rank on her third attempt. She became an IAS officer in 2014.

While preparing for the UPSC Exam, she was befriended with Vatsal Kumar. He told her the strategy to prepare to study for the IAS Exam. Their friendship grew and eventually turned into love. As a result, they got married and lived happily together. Vatsalya Kumar told Tanu Jain how to crack an interview, which greatly helped her. She secured 200 marks in the interview.
